Last week, Fort Collins, Estes Park and Loveland news media presented a Longmont man trapped between two walls at Marshalls as the victim of an unfortunate event. However, just a short week later, he is now facing at least 5 criminal charges for the same incident.
How Did He End Up in the Wall of a Longmont Marshalls?
Marshalls store employees heard a cry for help and could not figure out where the screams were coming from. They called for emergency responders and the police and fire departments were dispatched where, upon further investigation, it was found that the man was caught between the outside and inside walls of the store. It was thought he fell in from the roof. Originally, the police were investigating why he was on the roof in the first place and they were considering charging him with Criminal Trespass / Trespassing.
Now, just days later, the Longmont Police are charging him with more than just Trespassing. They have added:
- Second Degree Burglary
- Criminal Mischief
- Criminal Tampering
- Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic
