Fort Collins Municipal Code has only one offense under Article II: Offenses Against the Person. That offense is Assault.

Sec. 17-21 Assault

A person receives a ticket for Municipal Assault is charged when they are accused of causing bodily injury to another person. This can also be charged when a person exercises criminal negligence, which causes bodily injury to another person through the use of a deadly weapon. Municipal Court Assault would not be charged if there is serious bodily injury involved. The case would be transferred to state court.
